Engineered to Go Faster
Every aspect of the MAGMA has been designed to reduce aerodynamic drag without compromising weight or ride quality.
The frame, fork, seatpost and integrated monocoque handlebar were extensively developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to optimise airflow across the complete bicycle. Compared to the previous generation, the redesigned frame delivers an estimated 7-watt aerodynamic saving, while the integrated AURUM handlebar contributes a further 10-watt improvement at 45 km/h.
From the deeper NACA-profile head tube and fork to the refined rear triangle and integrated cockpit, every surface has been engineered with speed in mind.
Experience Carbon Technology (ECT-10)
The MAGMA is constructed using AURUM's Experience Carbon Technology (ECT-10), the brand's highest level of carbon fibre construction.
Each frame is handcrafted using multiple grades of carbon fibre, with every frame size receiving its own dedicated laminate schedule. Combined with finite element analysis (FEA) and extensive real-world testing, this results in a frame that delivers exceptional stiffness, low weight and remarkable ride quality.
