Nova Ride CBB Ceramic Bottom Bracket – BSA
Precision Engineering. Ceramic Performance.

The Nova Ride CBB Ceramic Bottom Bracket – BSA combines high-performance ceramic bearings, precision-machined aluminium construction and distinctive finishing in a premium threaded bottom bracket.

Designed to improve drivetrain efficiency without compromising durability, the CBB features hybrid ceramic bearings engineered for smooth rotation and reduced friction. The cups are CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, providing a lightweight, robust housing for the bearing system.

Nova Ride's refined design is complemented by a distinctive two-tone anodised finish, bringing the same attention to detail found throughout its performance component range.

Three Crankset Options

The Nova Ride CBB BSA is available in three versions to accommodate different crankset axle standards.
Version
Crankset axle
Shimano 24 mm
Shimano Hollowtech II, 24 mm
SRAM DUB
SRAM DUB, 28.99 mm
30 mm
Compatible 30 mm crank axles

All three versions are designed for compatible BSA threaded frames. Crankset compatibility should be confirmed before ordering, particularly for 30 mm axle configurations.

Hybrid Ceramic Bearings
Nova Ride uses hybrid ceramic bearings, combining ceramic balls with steel bearing components to deliver smooth rotation and efficient power transfer.
Developed with an emphasis on both performance and durability, the bearing system is designed to minimise friction while maintaining the reliability expected from a premium bottom bracket.

CNC-Machined 7075-T6 Aluminium Cups
Each CBB features cups precision-machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, combining strength, low weight and a clean, minimalist profile.
Nova Ride's two-tone anodising process adds a distinctive finish, with a choice of Black, Silver, Red or Gold accents to complement the rest of the bike.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cranksets fit the Nova Ride CBB BSA?
  • Three versions are available: Shimano Hollowtech II 24 mm, SRAM DUB 28.99 mm, and 30 mm cranksets such as compatible Rotor, FSA, Praxis, Ingrid and Cane Creek models.
What is the difference between ceramic and standard bearings?
  • Hybrid ceramic bearings use ceramic balls within a bearing assembly containing steel components. They are designed to provide smooth rotation and low friction, although actual efficiency gains depend on bearing load, seals, lubrication and riding conditions.
Does the Nova Ride CBB fit a 68 mm BSA frame?
  • Yes. Nova Ride specifies 68 mm and 73 mm BSA shell compatibility, subject to the selected crankset configuration.
