The Parlee Cycles Ouray is a modern performance road frameset for riders who want speed without narrowing where, how or how far they can ride.

Fast when you put the power down, composed when the road becomes less predictable, and comfortable enough for genuinely long days in the saddle, the Ouray brings together qualities too often treated as compromises. It doesn't ask you to choose between a fast road bike and a comfortable one. It is designed to be both.

Building on the lineage of celebrated Parlee road platforms including the Z5 and Altum, the Ouray represents the next generation of Parlee Cycles road design: lighter, stiffer, aerodynamically refined and significantly more versatile. Whether the day involves a fast bunch ride, long alpine climbs, rough country roads or simply following a route further than planned, the Ouray is designed to make you want to keep riding.

Balanced by Design
The character of the Ouray begins with its proportions.

A sloping top tube and dropped seat stays introduce carefully tuned compliance into the chassis, helping reduce road chatter and rider fatigue. At the same time, increased lateral and torsional stiffness delivers the immediate response and efficient power transfer expected from a high-performance carbon road bike.
Its stable wheelbase gives the Ouray a planted, assured feel at speed without taking away the responsiveness that makes a great road bike engaging to ride.
The result isn't softness disguised as comfort. It's control. Push harder and the Ouray responds. Settle into a long day and the frame works with you. Descend quickly and it remains calm and predictable beneath you.

Handmade Carbon. Made in Portugal.
At the heart of the Ouray is a uni-directional monocoque carbon frame and fork, handmade in Portugal.

Parlee Cycles has spent more than two decades refining the relationship between carbon construction, stiffness, weight and ride quality. Rather than pursuing any single performance metric in isolation, the Ouray uses its carbon structure to create a frame that is efficient under power while retaining the refinement and road feel for which Parlee Cycles is renowned.

With a sub-900 g frame weight, the Ouray remains impressively light while providing the stiffness, durability and versatility demanded of a contemporary performance road platform.
Aerodynamically considered tube profiles and clean integration further improve efficiency, helping the bike carry speed across exposed roads, rolling terrain and fast descents.

Up to 40 mm Tyre Clearance
With clearance for tyres up to 40 mm, the Ouray gives riders considerably more freedom than a traditional performance road frameset. Run a fast 28 or 30 mm setup for pure road performance. Add more volume for rough Australian roads, long-distance riding and additional comfort. Or take advantage of the full clearance when the route starts including roads that don't necessarily appear as roads on the map. Importantly, that versatility hasn't turned the Ouray into a gravel bike. It remains, first and foremost, a fast performance road bike — simply one designed around a broader definition of what modern road riding can be.

Modern Standards. Simple Ownership.
The Ouray combines sophisticated carbon engineering with deliberately straightforward component standards. A T47 threaded bottom bracket provides a robust and serviceable interface, while the SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) brings widely available replacement options and compatibility with evolving drivetrain technologies. Fully integrated stealth cable routing creates a clean, contemporary front end while retaining broad cockpit compatibility, giving riders and professional bike fitters greater freedom when configuring the finished build. These are thoughtful details that make the Ouray easier to build, service, upgrade and own for years to come.

Seatpost Options
Each Parlee Cycles Ouray frameset is available with a choice of two premium carbon seatpost configurations, allowing the final build to better suit the rider's position and fit requirements:
  • Parlee carbon seatpost — 25 mm offset
  • Deda RS carbon seatpost — 0 mm offset
The choice between zero and 25 mm offset provides additional flexibility when establishing saddle position while maintaining the clean aesthetic of the finished bike.
